Rupert Boyd in Concert

  • Music
  • Entertainment

Visit Walsh Street for a special performance by the grandson of Robin Boyd, Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd. Rupert performs an eclectic and engaging repertoire, from the baroque through modern day, including many of his own arrangements.

At the age of 22, Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd left Australia for the first time, bound for New York City with just a suitcase and a guitar, and not knowing a single person in North America. He has subsequently become regarded as one of the finest guitarists of his generation.

Rupert regularly performs with his partner and cellist, Laura Metcalf, as the duo Boyd Meets Girl.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore the Boyd House II, and the friendly volunteers are happy to answer any questions. Refreshments available.
