The 70th Anniversary Gala honours the legacy of a band of idealists, who gave up their day jobs as butchers, pharmacists and newsagents to mount four Mozart operas. Celebrate the gift they gave Australia with a starry line-up of singers, Orchestra Victoria and the unrivalled Opera Australia Chorus in a milestone concert.

Director Stuart Maunder and internationally renowned conductor Giampaolo Bisanti lead a program of thrilling operatic highlights that honours our past while looking to the future.
