Have your finger on the pulse and step inside a world of human (or not-so-human) storytelling, meaning-making and poetry at RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing flagship festival held at the iconic Capitol Theatre.
This year’s theme, Pulse, invites us to explore how literature connects us all through vulnerability and truth, and to ask ourselves what it truly means to be human.
See Evelyn Araluen, an award-winning Goorie and Koori poet, editor and researcher as keynote speaker, alongside journalist Osman Faruqi, author Sian Prior, and writer and accessibility advocate Carly Findlay.
Expect lively discussion panels, a dazzling buffet of heartfelt 'Leave Your Mark' poetry, 'You Need to Nerd Out' fan-fiction event, a festival-wide book swap and creative activities to enjoy with friends throughout the day.
