Melbourne Kids Book Fest

Come along to Melbourne Kids Book Fest for two days of storytelling, illustration, books and fun.
Meet your favourite authors, enter a storytelling competition, go on a scavenger hunt, beat a bookish escape room and join in some fantastic workshops for children ages five to13.

Participating authors and illustrators include Andy Griffiths, Maxine Beneba Clarke, Andrew McDonald and Ben Wood, Adrian Beck, Julianne Negri, Andrea Rowe, Emma Bowd, Daniel Barnett-Gray, Caz Goodwin, Sarah Jane Lightfoot, Melanie La’Brooy, Trace Balla, Matt Shanks, Jake A Minton, Jaidyn Attard and Mitchell Toy.

Alongside the ticketed workshops, there will be a Free Festival Hub where you can join in storytime and craft activities, meet Australian animals, join in an interactive dance performance with Jafra Dabke and get books signed by visiting authors.
