Melbourne International Comedy Festival Busking Program

  • Free
  • Family and kids

Proudly presented by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the City of Melbourne’s Busking Program, this first‑ever festival initiative brings 20 live performances from magicians, acrobats, comedians and street artists to the heart of the city.

Across City Square and a pop‑up Chessboard Pitch on Swanston Street, top‑tier buskers will deliver a rotating lineup of high‑energy shows during the festival.

Featured acts include circus chaos from Abso‑LUTH‑ly, high‑skill juggling and stunts from Kozo Kaos, sideshow spectacle with Samora Squid, fast and funny magic from Mika Harris, seasoned street magic from Street Magician Dude, musical comedy duo Hard Rubbish, and Mae Da’s blend of stand‑up and physical theatre.

With daily sessions across both sites, the program transforms Melbourne’s public spaces into vibrant hubs of laughter, skill and surprise.
