Across light domestic scenarios, Maas captures the tangled truth of the everyday; those quiet, knotty moments of anxiety that can rise in the stomach without warning. Working with her characteristically restrained palette, spare settings and assured line-work, she builds small, precarious worlds where the familiar slips gently into the absurd.
