Knitting: Beginner 101

  • Family and kids
  • Workshop

In recent years, knitting and crochet have gained popularity due to calming effects on anxiety and stress. While the repetitive action engages the pre-frontal cortex of the brain, knitting is a wonderful practice for mindfulness – like meditation, but with colours, shapes and fluffy textures.

Learn skills for a lifetime in a supportive and nurturing environment. As everyone has different learning styles, along with group demonstrations, individual attention will also be given to those feeling unsure. You are encouraged to make mistakes and move at your own pace.

All participants receive an elaborate, beginner-friendly knit kit to take home.

Suitable for adults and children, aged 10+ years.

Hosted by Vegan Yarn and Cause & Events.
