In Conversation at the Shrine: Veteran Voices

Come along for an intimate conversation with Shrine Trustees and Governors, 25 years after Operation Slipper, when Australian troops were deployed to Afghanistan.

Hosted by Shrine of Remembrance Chair, Major General (Retd) Andrew Bottrell AO, CSC & Bar, DSM, with reflections from Shrine Governors Squadron Leader Rebekah (Bek) Herron (Retd), Christopher May OAM and Captain Paul Scott, RAN, share in the stories of how their military service continues to shape their lives, their understanding of remembrance, and their contribution to the Shrine today.

Prior to this discussion, gather on the Shrine Forecourt for a moving Last Post Service marking the 25th anniversary of the commencement of Operation Slipper.

Following the Last Post Service, the piper will lead attendees around the Shrine to the Education Courtyard, with the event beginning in the Auditorium.
