Gag Reflex
A trio of best friends team up to win a manuscript contest so they can afford the summer of their dreams. If they can’t win the cash prize, they’re definitely 1000% going to have the most boring holidays ever and then probably never see each other again – because what if they get into different unis?
They’re limited on time and they figure, given their algorithms, that their best chance lies in writing a literary masterpiece about lesbian vampires.
Their ideas about sex, romance and relationships are explored as they write, edit and upload the work. Also... they all have literally zero real-life experience.
Content warning: This performance contains extreme language, sexual references/content, references to suicide, self harm and abortion, themes of bullying, references to racism.
