From Beethoven’s youthful intensity to Sibelius’s Nordic intimacy, Flinders Quartet opens the year with a program full of contrast and discovery.
The concert features Holly Harrison’s dazzling Swoop and the Australian premiere of Olli Mustonen’s second string quartet, co-commissioned by Flinders Quartet with Daniel Rowlands and the Stift Festival (Netherlands). It also includes Beethoven's String Quartet No.4 in C minor, Op.18 No.4 and Jean Sibelius String Quartet in D minor, Op.56 Voces Intimae.
