Coffee Cupping and Tasting

  • Workshop
  • Activity

This is an opportunity to try some of the world’s best coffee, and also look at what goes into espresso blends, different flavour profiles, filter roasts and talk about what makes a great specialty coffee.

Coffee cupping is how one can taste and assess coffee in a professional and structured way. The point of cupping coffee is to see what the coffee tastes like before you use different brew methods or add milk.

It’s a simple process involving a bowl, some ground coffee, hot water and a spoon. The simplicity allows you to taste the coffee itself rather than the brew method and the accessibility of the method means it is the industry standard all over the world.

No coffee-cupping experience is needed and all tickets come with a 250g bag of coffee of your choice.
