The Philosophy of Questioning
Guided by Werner Heisenberg’s reflection, 'What we observe is not nature in itself, but nature exposed to our method of questioning', the exhibition treats uncertainty not as an error, but as a driving force behind transformation.
Two Threads: Guang and Flame
The experience follows two creative threads that bring together the elemental forces of water and fire: Guang intervenes in the fluidity of light within transparent mediums. Here, images are not fixed outcomes but conditional responses, shaped by refraction and the viewer's immediate presence. Flame constructs a language around the dynamics of energy and systemic regeneration, drawing on both physical movement and cultural symbolism.
From Twilight to Night
In a dialogue with the passing of time, the exhibition runs from late afternoon into the evening. As the natural light of Melbourne fades, the space transforms into a perception circuit powered by the visitors’ own movements.
