Writing Workshop: Stories to Discover, Stories to Tell
Celebrate the 21st Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge at State Library Victoria as you reimagine beloved fairytales and classic stories at a Writing Workshop.
Children and carers are invited to take well-known tales, play with the story elements and make them their own. Together, they will make their very own story zine.
What would happen if Goldilocks didn't visit three little bears, but instead a kangaroo, a cheetah and a marmoset? What happens to a story if you change the characters or setting? Why not have a try?
Ever read a story ending you didn't like? What if you could change it? Learn the art of an unforgettable closing chapter and how you can finish with a laugh, a cry or a twist.
Perfect for children aged 5-12 years. Please note: a parent or carer must attend this event for the entire duration with their child/children.
