Toto's Song

Toto’s Song follows Phillip, a struggling performer returning to his childhood home, and his fiercely unconventional mother Toto, who is facing the end of her life on her own unapologetic terms.

As Toto plans for her final adventures, Phillip scrambles to make meaning, hold things together, and say the things that matter.

Together, they collide in a series of intimate and absurd encounters that wrestle with grief, desire, regret, and the urgent need to feel something real.

By turns outrageous and deeply moving, Toto’s Song is a celebration of flawed people doing their best in impossible circumstances. A play about how we try, and fail, to care for each other.
