Till the Day I Die

Clifford Odets’ anti-Nazi play was banned in Australia in 1936. To get around the ban, the artist-activists of the New Theatre performed the play on the back of a truck.

Ninety years later, veteran Fringe artists Katie Sfetkidis and Mark Wilson present the play on the back of a truck in the car park at Trades Hall.

The play is a terrifying, human depiction of the cost and necessity of fighting against fascism. This will be an event to remember.

A post show discussion of the show, its contexts and resonances will be held on the Saturday.
