Science and the Arts Slam

  • Free
  • Talk

Inspired by the popular poetry slam format, this event sees PhD students take the stage to present their research – from civil engineering to film and media, from history to language studies to motorsport – in an entertaining, accessible, and engaging way. The audience then votes for their winner!

As the German Academic Exchange Service celebrates 100 years each of these projects has a connection to German-Australian research and study connections: research conducted in Germany, in cooperation with German research institutions, or a topic with a connection to German/y.

Stay after the slam for a chat with the presenters and study program representatives.

This event is for the curious and everyone is welcome.

This event is part of German Week Melbourne.
