From history and culture to science and nature, Melbourne Museum offers adults and kids alike an array of experiences to explore the various aspects of life.

In Our Wondrous Planet, discover a world four billion years in the making, and come face to face with animals from around the world.

Explore the landscape of the Cretaceous in Gandel Gondwana Garden, a living gallery that transports you into the ecosystem of the past to meet 67-million-year-old Horridus at Triceratops Fate of the Dinosaurs.

Over a number of galleries, visitors can learn about the origin and evolution of life in Victoria, stroll through a living rainforest, discover the story of the famous racehorse Phar Lap, and more. There is also the Children's Gallery, for babies to five-year-olds to explore, play and learn.

The Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre is dedicated to celebrating the history, culture, achievements and survival of Victoria's Aboriginal people.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
