Magical Moroccan Gardens Talk

On a recent visit to Morocco, Cathy Trinca visited a number of gardens both public and private. Each was unique in their own way with some being wonderful examples of cacti and succulent gardens, others full of art and others hidden, private lush oases in a hot dry country.

Cathy travelled from Tangier, through Fez to Marrakesh. Gardens visited include Anima, Andre Heller’s three hectare botanical staging, Jardin Marjorelle and Villa Mabrouka, both Yves Saint Laurent creations, Umberto Pasti’s, Gordon Watson’s and Dar Sinclair in Tangier, Jnane Tamsna in Marrakesh’s Palmery plus the famous Jardin Secret tucked away in the Marrakesh markets. Lunch at the Hotel La Moumounia enabled a visit to its famous gardens also.

Cathy shares her experiences and images from all of these fascinating creations.
