Library Up Late x Now or Never

Experience one of Melbourne's most iconic cultural spaces in a completely different light.

In the Dome, composer and guzheng master Mindy Meng Wang 王萌 and her Melbourne electronic counterpart Tim Shiel present a series of live performances. Artist-scientist Yoyo Munk brings the Library’s oral histories collection to life through an immersive sound installation.

Experience PULSE_ by Misklectic, Harry J. Dee and Luca Bade, an interactive audio-visual installation that transforms human emotions into visions of the future, and hit the dancefloor with Haus of Ralph and House Mum as they join forces for an electrifying DJ set.

Get a first look at an exciting new project by Library Fellows Vei Tan and Patrick Macasaet, reimagining the Library in a climate-altered future.

Throughout the evening, unwind at Book Doof, a communal reading experience complete with ambient music and soft lighting. Don’t forget to bring your own book!
