The doors are open, the stage is set and it's time to celebrate. As part of the Ian Potter State Theatre reopening season, Housewarming welcomes audiences to take a seat and experience a fast-paced, high-energy performance, repeated seven times for free across one unmissable weekend.

Jude Perl, Melbourne’s homegrown, award-winning musical comedy star, takes you on a journey, in search of the mysterious Lyrebird missing from the Theatre's iconic red curtain. Directed by acclaimed Melbourne theatre-maker Michael Kantor, scenes of spectacle, fun and wonder unfold, in a vibrant celebration featuring over 100 Victorian artists. Housewarming welcomes you, the audience, home to your stage – the Ian Potter State Theatre.
