Digital Detox Offline Club

  • Free
  • Community

What would it feel like to simply be offline for a few hours?

Come along and experience something that is already offered in many European cities: a space where you can leave your phone behind and take some time to simply be.

When you arrive, you can hand in your phone for the duration of your visit. Inside the church, you’ll find different spaces and activities where you can get creative and make something, read and browse, enjoy coffee, tea and cake or chat and connect with others. You can also simply sit, relax and do nothing.

You can come on your own or connect with others. You can join in, create, read, talk, reflect – or simply be.

There is no entry fee, but gold coin donations are welcome. Leave your phone behind. Take a breath. Make some space for yourself.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
