Capitol Theatre Orchestra followed by Cabaret Screening

  • Film
  • Music

Directed by Bob Fosse, the acclaimed musical Cabaret (classification M) follows a carefree performer and an ambitious young writer whose lives intertwine amid the glitter and growing unrest of the Kit Kat Klub.

Featuring unforgettable songs including Willkommen, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time and the iconic title number, Cabaret combines spectacular choreography, unforgettable performances and a bold visual style. Yet beneath the glittering costumes and seductive cabaret performances lies a powerful portrait of a society slowly surrendering to intolerance and extremism.

Featuring an Oscar-winning performance from Liza Minnelli and a memorable turn from Joel Grey as the enigmatic Master of Ceremonies, Cabaret remains a provocative, stylish and enduring film experience.
