The Greek Centre hosts the Melbourne launch of Researching Migration on Indigenous Lands: Reflections, Challenges, Pathways, edited by Dr Andonis Piperoglou and Associate Professor Francesco Ricatti.
Bringing together perspectives from leading researchers across Australia, this interdisciplinary volume explores the relationship between migration, Indigenous sovereignty and research in settler colonial contexts. Through critical reflection and contemporary scholarship, the book considers how migration research can engage more meaningfully and ethically with Indigenous knowledges and communities.
The publication will be launched by Professor Tony Birch, Boisbouvier Chair in Australian Literature at the University of Melbourne.
Presented by the Greek Community of Melbourne.
