The Victorian Seniors Festival returns for the month of October, with a range of events for older Victorians. The City of Melbourne is proud to support the festival, with many events and celebrations being held across the city - including a comedy show and high tea, LGBTIQA+ history walk, events at libraries and free classes and a Seniors Sports Day at the city's recreation facilities.
This year’s Victorian Seniors Festival theme – Connect, Create, Celebrate – invites older Victorians to come together, discover new interests and celebrate. Victorian Seniors Card holders can access eight days of free public transport across Victoria from 5 to 12 October.
Major events include Celebration Day at Fed Square, the Melbourne Town Hall Dance and more. Head to the website for the full event calendar, or collect a festival guide from Coles, local councils and some community organisations.
Bookings are essential for most events, click on the link for bookings and more information.
