As the biggest event of its kind in the southern hemisphere, Radiant Pavilion brings a focus to the many aspects of contemporary jewellery and object practice. It's a celebration of diversity – in makers, in methods, in themes and in materials.
This year’s program brings together 200+ Australian and international artists in 60 events in and around Naarm / Melbourne, itself home to a thriving and generous community of artists, galleries and studios.
Incorporating First Peoples and Indigenous storytelling, climate change, the environment, technology, health and human connection, the program is as varied as the makers themselves and the materials they work with. Accompanying workshops, talks and panels provide opportunities for discussion, interaction and sharing.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its arts funding and advisory body, and is supported by the City of Melbourne Arts Grants.
