Vena Amoris: Group Exhibition

e.g.etal is thrilled to present Vena Amoris, an exhibition of engagement rings that explore the endless expressions and interpretations of love.

This exhibition features new works by Tessa Blazey, Welfe Bowyer, Alexandra Dodds, Jeanette Dyke, Susan Ewington, Krista McRae, Alicia Hannah Naomi, Cass Partington, Phoebe Porter, Amy Renshaw, Julia Storey, and Lauren Trojkovic.

Drawing inspiration from the written word, each artist has selected a text that speaks to their individual understanding of love. The text is the seed. The ring is the response.

There need be no mention of love or marriage. All we ask is what sparks that feeling? A poem, lyric, or novel, an excerpt from a favourite piece of writing, a letter, a fragment of philosophy, or perhaps even a myth.
