Thee Sacred Souls
Thee Sacred Souls make soul music that takes its time – satin-smooth, slow-burning and just a little bit lovesick. The kind that feels like it’s always been playing somewhere in the background of your life, you just hadn’t found it yet.
Formed in San Diego by Sal Samano, Alex Garcia and Josh Lane, the trio came together in 2019 and locked into something easy, instinctive. The band slipped into their own sound inspired by the sweet sway of 1960s soul and the deeper pocket of 1970s R&B. Then came their lead single 'Can I Call You Rose?', a modern classic people thought they already knew. Warm, wistful and everywhere. A viral NPR Tiny Desk Concert followed and so did their steady, undeniable rise.
Their sophomore record Got a Story to Tell (2024) reached critical acclaim and multi-million streaming success.
Come sway with Thee Sacred Souls.
