The Master and His Dogs

A rug, lamp and table survive bugs, floods and a mould dictator in this ode to Melbourne's renters.

Inspired by Aesop’s Fable of the same name, emerging company ElevenEleven Theatre’s (Gryff Connah, Lana Rosalea and Emmaline May) version pays attention to the loss that we experience as constantly changing beings, and the pain that comes with moving on. We are but dogs, lost in a storm out of our control.

Eleven Eleven Theatre is a Naarm-based devising ensemble that seeks to immerse and challenge audiences through performance. We use multidisciplinary and innovative devising practices to tell stories that explore today’s social landscape and that bring us into a deeper conversation with empathy.
