School Holiday Workshop: Musical Theatre Dance

  • Free
  • Family and kids

In this hands-on arts learning experience, eligible secondary school students work with Freya List and Arts Centre Melbourne Creative Learning facilitators to explore what an identity as an artist and creative looks like, how it encompasses or enhances certain elements of personality, creativity and community.

Students will engage in a 2-hour musical theatre dance workshop with Freya.

Students will also explore Arts Centre Melbourne’s Collections of costumes, memorabilia, set designs and photographs, and will be encouraged to reflect on the Collection’s role in celebrating artist identities.

Freya List is a versatile choreographer, movement director and educator working across theatre, film, TV, company works and music. Freya is passionate about how movement can enhance text, music and the story being told.
