Sail Away on Schooner Enterprize

Enterprize will be sailing from Docklands as part of the Melbourne Boat Show. Step aboard the charming Schooner Enterprize and back into the 1800s for a unique sailing experience. Join the crew in hoisting sail, help take the helm, smell the tar on her traditional rigging, or just sit back and soak in the atmosphere as you explore the Yarra downstream from Docklands under sail.

One-hour day sails and 90-minute evening sails are available. Find them on the day by heading to the Cow in the Tree sculpture and looking for the old-fashioned pirate-style ship, or book online.

The ship is traditionally rigged, so ropes are preserved with tar. They recommend avoiding wearing light colours or delicate fabrics to avoid getting them tarry.

Seasickness is highly unlikely in the river as these waters are quite protected by surrounding buildings.

Please be at the ship and ready to board 15 minutes prior to the listed sailing time.
