Sage Gastronomy Master Series: Edition 01

Sage Gastronomy Master Series: Edition 01 brings three acclaimed chefs of Chinese heritage to Garden Restaurant at NGV International for a three-night collaborative dining experience.

Hong Kong Chefs Association President Eddy Leung, 2025 Chef of China champion Rain Qu and former Australian National Culinary Team member Leslie Chan will create a multi-course menu showcasing exceptional Australian produce. Chef of China is a hit Chinese culinary reality series featuring leading chefs in demanding creative and technical challenges.

The menu features Australian scallops, M8+ Wagyu, native finger lime and an abalone laksa underpinned by lobster bisque, followed by Botanical Secrets, a sculptural dessert inspired by the NGV Garden.

Japanese artist Hikaru Matsubara inspires and curates the décor, bringing food, art and contemporary culture together around the table. Optional wine pairing is available, and Opening Night guests receive a limited-edition art gift.
