RISING: Furby Chorus and FRIENDs

  • Free
  • Family and kids

Beloved, but sometimes maligned, Furbies lead the congregation of robot friends including companions from Yukai Engineering. Soft and sweet, hacked and peculiar – what secrets will these friends share as they erupt unexpectedly to life?

Living in a sculptural world created by studioBOWL’s Ryohei Murakami and the National Communication Museum, your new friends hibernate at Emporium Melbourne, waiting to meet you. Resting in stillness, suspended between nostalgia and technology. Ready to move.

Presented with Emporium Melbourne, this work explores the evolving relationship between humans and technology through movement, choreography and sound.

Discover it in the heart of Melbourne at Emporium Melbourne, where culture, creativity and the unexpected meet.
