Meet @ the Market: Session 2

  • Music
  • Entertainment

A concert series that invites you to deep dive into fascinating music in an intimate setting, Meet @ the Market's Session 2 opens with Stravinsky’s sharp and stylish Dances Concertantes, followed by Carl Nielsen’s playful and lyrical Flute Concerto, starring OV’s Lisa-Maree Amos. Australian composer Paul Stanhope brings a modern glow with Apollo, and the concert closes with Beethoven’s lively First Symphony: bright, cheeky and full of youthful confidence. On the podium is charismatic conductor Umberto Clerici, guiding the night with his signature energy and flair.

Arrive early to settle in with a drink, and don’t rush off when the final note sounds. The bar remains open after each performance for a post-concert social. At Meet @ the Market, the evening doesn’t end with the applause, it’s just getting started.
