Live at Toorak: Lucas Debargue

  • Music
  • Entertainment

Live at Yours presents a rare chance to experience French pianist, Lucas Debargue – live, up close, and unforgettable under the stunning Byzantine dome of the Toorak synagogue.

Debargue is an artist of rare imagination whose performances feel less like recitals and more like encounters. A virtuoso of electrifying control and poetic instinct, he moves effortlessly between classical and contemporary worlds, improvising and thinking in real time on stage.

L’Enigme Française is a programme of shimmering colour and brilliance, culminating in Ravel’s Gaspard de la nuit – music that seduces and astonishes. From Fauré’s Thème et Variations to new works written for Debargue, and a finale infused with jazz, this is French artistry at its most captivating.
