La Mama Explorations is back, and it's bigger than ever, with 30 fearless shows across two venues, three nights per show.

Explorations is a chance for artists to test ideas and challenge themselves and audiences. It's a festival full of some of the most exciting and inspirational work a Melbourne audience is likely to see. Failure is most definitely an option, and that very often leads to the most wild, provocative, wonderful successes.

Over four months, La Mama hosts 30 shows made by dozens of remarkable artists, many of them young or emerging, some of them seasoned veterans still in love with the experiment that theatre can be. Whether you come along to one, a few, or all of them, you're sure to have an adventure.
