Inside Out

  • Free
  • Family and kids

Inside Out is a place to get creative with others and let your imagination soar. Families are invited into a colour-filled space inspired by ArtPlay’s new Obang installation.

There will be inspiring materials on hand for you to create artwork or build a play space together. Explore a different activity each time you visit: make a sculpture out of cushions or felt, turn it into a cubby house, or wrap and weave using ribbon and rope. Listen to music, cast shadows as you play, or relax in the sleepy zone. Anything is possible!

Facilitated by ArtPlay Support Officers, Inside Out is an in-house program offering space and time for creativity and connection. If the venue is at capacity you may need to wait. They are unable to accommodate facilitated groups in this event.

For ages 2 to 7 years. Please ensure your child is within this age range, children must be accompanied by an adult.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
