I Hope They Call Me Skinny in the Eulogy

  • Comedy
  • Entertainment

Darkly funny and outrageously candid, this is a timely interrogation of the societal obsession with physical appearance, the normalization of diet culture, and the expectations of normative femininity. Through a narrative based in the ending of a relationship, comedian Stephanie Hare questions what it means to be perceived as feminine in a society that so often equates feminine worth with physical desirability.
