How Dare You?
A comedy adventure of freedom and awakening, and a 60-minute dose of the healing power of humour as a powerful Taiwanese comedic voice turns life's deepest hurts into the sharpest wit.
In many traditional Asian cultures, deep-rooted expectations confine women to rigid roles. Breaking free takes courage and a very good sense of humour.
This stand-up special follows a modern Asian woman who shattered the mould. After a turbulent divorce, single motherhood and a full career reboot in her 40s, she steps into the spotlight to ask: how dare you break my life, and how dare I build it back even louder?
Taking on the stigma of divorce in Asian society, she tears into family expectations, cheating partners, the chaos of single parenting and the absurdity of dating again.
