Firelight Festival

  • Free
  • Family and kids

Melbourne’s epic winter festival returns to Docklands. Firelight Festival takes over Harbour Esplanade for three fiery nights from 3–5 July. Entry is free!

Featuring dazzling fire performers, a laser light show, glow pickleball, fire pits and flame jets, live music and roving entertainers, every moment at Firelight is a celebration of fire and light.

A spectacular laser show shimmers across the harbour, with water fountains and projections creating a symphony of light and colour, set against Development Victoria's Echo art installation of 147 illuminated marine buoys. Plus, pickleball as you've never seen before.

Feast on Melbourne’s best wintery pop-up food and drink offerings. From hot choc and s’mores to sizzling street food, there’s tasty treats to warm your belly all weekend long.

There’s more to explore in Docklands. Find waterfront restaurants and bars, exciting entertainment and experiences, shopping and special deals to round out your visit to Firelight.
