Family Art Day at ACCA: Teens' Edition
Hosted by ACCA Education, this one-off session explores the exhibition 'Are You Lonely Tonight? I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry', the first exhibition in the Art and Emotion series. Through guided discussion and a hands-on drawing workshop, parents, carers and teens are invited to reflect, create, and discover new artworks and creative techniques together.
The workshop includes a guided exhibition tour followed by a practical studio session inspired by the exhibition’s central theme: the human experience of loneliness and connection.
Through creative activities, participants explore contemporary art alongside the themes of loneliness, empathy and connection in a welcoming and supportive environment. Together, you’ll discover how art can open new conversations, build empathy, and help us make sense of the emotions we all experience.
For ages 11 – 18 years. All teen participants must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
