Changing Perspectives

Founded in 1902 by former students of the National Gallery of Victoria Art School, the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors (MSWPS) continues to support women artists through community, exhibitions and advocacy.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 artworks created by 58 members.

Come along to the official opening on Saturday 10 October at 2pm, across the Frater, McCubbin and Hammond Galleries in the National Trust and heritage-listed Victorian Artists Society building. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists, engage in conversation, and celebrate women’s artistic achievement in a warm and inclusive environment.

Member demonstrations will be held on Wednesday 14 October by Dina Goebel at 11am and on Saturday 17 October by Steph Wallace at 1pm.

Artworks may be purchased at the exhibition.
