Chad Lawson is an American pianist and composer whose music has been heard more than a billion times worldwide. He writes with remarkable restraint, allowing a handful of notes, a lingering silence, and the space around a phrase to carry the emotional weight.

Joining Lawson for the performance is Indian-Australian pianist and composer Priya Singh-Kaushal. Writing from Wurundjeri Country, her intimate neoclassical works explore wordless emotion and the quiet complexities of modern life. Opening the evening, she will perform a selection of unreleased original compositions for solo piano.
