London, 2012. The Olympics have arrived, and for the first time, women can compete in boxing. For Chloe, a girl from East London, the biggest fight of her life is just down the road from her local pub. Years of training with her dad have led to this moment, but when he dies unexpectedly, Chloe must learn to fight on her own.

Charlie Josephine’s award-winning Bitch Boxer, directed by Hannah Smith and starring Shardae Santos, is a fast-paced, physical one-woman show about rage, love, grief and fighting to take up space in a world that keeps knocking you back.
