Africubismo

Africubismo is an immersive musical journey across the Atlantic, mapping the shared rhythmic DNA between West Africa and Cuba through virtuosic performances and deep listening.

Presented by Stani Goma (PBS' Flight 1067 to Africa), experience the intricate interplay between kora, bass, saxophone, and percussion – where cascading West African harp lines meet the polyrhythmic pulse of rumba and son, and contemporary improvisation bridges past and present.
