AFL Grand Final on the Big Screen
The most Melbourne of all Melbourne things to do has to be watching the AFL Grand Final – and the next best thing to being at the MCG has to be catching the game on the Big Screen at Fed Square, in the heart of the city.
Good vibes, family-friendly – just grab a deckchair or BYO picnic rug or camping chair to enjoy the atmosphere. Broadcasting from noon, the game starts at 2.30pm.
Following the final siren, from 6pm to 7.15pm there will be a special screening of the VicScreen and AFL-produced Footy Shorts – five short documentaries that screened as part of Melbourne International Film Festival this year, centring stories about AFL culture and community.
