From the team behind Yamamoto Udon, Yamamoto Udon Izakaya brings a fresh take on Japanese dining, combining traditional handmade udon with the lively atmosphere of a modern izakaya.

Handmade udon is made daily and delivered fresh to the restaurant. Choose from classic broths, Japanese curry udon, dipping styles and creative fusion flavours including Carbonara, Mentaiko Cream, Tan Tan and Mapo Tofu udon, exclusive to this venue.

Alongside the noodle menu is a wide range of Japanese sharing dishes including beef tataki, kingfish crudo, takoyaki, gyoza, tempura and sizzling steak. With dishes starting from under $6, it's an accessible option for everything from quick lunches to group dinners and late-night dining.

The drinks list is focused on value, with cocktails, house sake and house wines priced at $14 or less, plus Japanese beers on tap. Located at QV Melbourne, the spacious venue creates a welcoming space for casual catch-ups, after-work drinks and relaxed group dining.
