TamJai Mixian [T-Ahm-J-eye. Mee-shee-en], the number one noodle brand in Hong Kong, has opened its first Australian store in Melbourne as part of its continued international expansion.

Since opening in 1996, TamJai has revolutionised the fast casual food landscape, winning over the hearts and taste buds of Hong Kongers and bringing Mixian to the masses. Incorporating traditional craftsmanship and modern technique, Mixian is a firm, smooth rice noodle cooked perfectly 'al dente'. A fast, healthy and high-quality Hong Kong comfort food, Mixian is made using only rice and water and so is completely gluten free.

The store includes a soup tasting counter allowing new customers to get acquainted with the spice levels of Tam Jai’s signature soup bases which form the ‘soul of the bowl’, giving flavour and sensation to the Mixian noodle.
