Walking Tour: Stories of South Yarra

  • Walking tour
  • Events

Join for this new guided walking tour through South Yarra exploring its rich architectural landscape and social history.

Led by experts from the Robin Boyd Foundation, this tour delves into the suburb’s diverse built heritage — covering nineteenth and early twentieth century residential, commercial, industrial and community developments through to post-war Modernism.

Explore a precinct bounded by Park and Millswyn streets that include architectural excellence, heritage-listed buildings, and the stories behind them. As you walk, you’ll uncover South Yarra’s layered history, its evolving streetscapes, and the character that makes this one of Melbourne’s most iconic suburbs. Don’t miss this chance to experience the area’s unique blend of past and present.
