Still Classy: Ten Years of A Class Act

  • Music
  • Cabaret

In 2016 Ilana Charnelle bursts onto the cabaret scene with A Class Act, a collection of her best vintage-inspired original songs. She’s twenty-five, not afraid to lay bare the heartbreak and humiliation of existing as a woman that feels everything, and to eviscerate those responsible.

Ten years, hundreds of songs, and dozens of local and international venues later, A Class Act remains the work she continues to return to. Are we more fearless at age 25 than 35? When do we lose our honesty? And how can we reclaim our ferocity?

In a special one-night-only event, Ilana celebrates the power of sincerity and the brazenness of youth in a return to the songs that started it all.
