Oktoberfest at Hofbrauhaus

The Hofbräuhaus Oktoberfest is turning 58 and they're throwing the biggest Bavarian bash the CBD will see all year. Dust off your dirndl, squeeze into your lederhosen and head to the heart of Chinatown for six straight weeks of oompah music, steins and schnitzels.

Kick things off at the opening party on 19 September with traditional keg tapping, the iconic Melbourne Stein Carrying Competition and a Bavarian band playing all day long.

Then keep the party going every Thursday to Sunday with live music, yodelling contests, stein holding battles and prizes.

With over 16 imported German biers and the most authentic Bavarian feast this side of Munich, this is Melbourne's OG Oktoberfest.
